A big part of the design of this website is for it to be a vehicle for promoting Catholic education. On a personal level we encourage people to tithe ten percent of their “take home” pay. Here at the Catholic Business Connection we are taking ten percent of every sales account and placing it into the CBC (Catholic Business Connection) Scholarship Fund. Additionally we will be hosting gatherings for businesses such as luncheons and golf outings to help raise more money to extend Catholic education to as many children as possible. Anyone may donate. One hundred percent of the money will be awarded toward school tuition. Some parents need assistance to keep their child/children enrolled in a Catholic school. The future of the Catholic church lies with our children.
Who Can Apply?
Any child registered in a Catholic parish entering kindergarten through twelfth grade, and who is enrolling in a Catholic school in the Greater Cleveland Area (Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Summit, or Wayne Counties), may apply for our scholarship, even advertisers’ children or grandchildren. The exact amounts at this point in time are difficult to determine until we know how much money will be dispersed. Our 2009 goal is to award at least three, one thousand dollar scholarships, but the actual amount given away is based upon the money collected by our award date. In May 2007 & 2008 we awarded one $1000.00 scholarship. Applications are available by clicking on the button below.
